Rashmir Balasubramaniam
strategist, catalyst, writer, coach
I am a Transformational Leadership Coach and Thought Partner to social innovators, philanthropists and changemakers. I help leaders and their teams level up their leadership and align their work with their unique purpose and capabilities so that they can realise greater impact, authenticity, joy and flow.
I’ve been on most sides of the table, having worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in a strategic and programmatic function, been a non-profit leader and consultant, served as a trustee, worked in the private sector, and started my own social enterprise in 2004 that sought to address the brain drain in nursing by harnessing the global movement of nurses combined with a modular educational and certification approach. I have 30 years experience working across industries, from investment banking to global health & development, and across countries such as East Africa, India, the US and UK. I have a demonstrated ability to build trust with diverse cultural and multidisciplinary groups and enable them to achieve a higher level of performance, impact and creative flow.
In addition to a Yale MBA, I have numerous qualifications in business, international development and coaching, and am a long time meditation and mindfulness practitioner who loves helping others find and bring a contemplative edge to their lives and work so that they can make the difference they are here to make while living a more fulfilling and joyful life.
