How are you balancing being and doing?

Here's a few ideas to try.

  1. Every now again, look away from whatever you are doing, take a few conscious breaths, paying attention only to the sensations of your breath coming in and going out. Allow action to arise from that state of aware presence.
  2. Step away from what you are doing, go for a short walk in nature, then come back refreshed and ready for action.
  3. Once you’ve done what you can, walk away, and go play, allowing your higher conscious to work behind the scenes, then return with new clarity, energy and direction.
