Integrity of Being

A few weekends ago at a group retreat, I got caught up in some mild negativity and critiquing. It’s too easy a thing to fall into when around those who probably don’t even realise what they are doing/saying. I didn’t much like being that way. It’s not my natural state. But the responsibility was all mine, for I didn’t need to follow suit. It proved a useful reminder of how I don’t want to be.

How are you maintaining your integrity of being in those moments when it might be harder?
